Dal Makhani. Dal Panchratan. 1 cup split pigeon pea (toor/arhar dal). Add turmeric powder, dal, 2 cups of water & salt to taste. Add this seasoning to the dal, simmer for 2 mins & remove from heat. Chana Dal Palak 1 cup

Dal Makhani. Combine dals & pressure cook with enough water & turmeric till dals are cooked. Dal Fry. 1/2 cup toovar dal (pigeonpea). 1/2 cup moong dal (split green gram). 1/4 cup urad dal (split black lentils). 1/2 cup masoor dal (split red lentil). 1/2 cup chana dal (split bengal gram). Add cooked dals, ground paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder & salt, mix well & cook for 10 minutes or till raw smell goes. Chana Dal Palak 1/2 cup. 1/4 cup urad dal
